Our experienced team provide an efficient and friendly family service that ensures all possible assistance to bereaved families to whom the loss of a loved one has meant so much. We pride ourselves on the high quality service that we offer.
At all of our locations we provide a private Chapel of Rest. Once we are notified of a death we have the facilities to carry out the removal of the deceased to our chapel of rest. This is a modern chapel that has been designed to suit those of all religious beliefs and where we would ensure full care and preservation of the deceased.
We also offer a specialised Hygenic Treatment service if required.
We would ascertain certain details from the next of kin or executor in order to undertake the basic preparations for the funeral.
For example would the deceased be buried or cremated and when and where would you wish the funeral to take place? Other points might include the provision of transport, pall bearers and service sheets. To capture this and other information we would arrange a meeting with you in our office or at your home if preferred. It is at this stage that it is wise to consider the Will or Letter of Wishes, left by the deceased, as this may indicate specific requests of the deceased applying to the funeral.
Once we have all of the information we contact all of the officials involved including the minister to negotiate all of the practical arrangements.
In addition we can also provide a range of ancillary services such as obituary notices which we would send to the appropriate sources to be published, together with the viewing of the deceased which may be arranged upon request. We also offer support with the ordering of Floral Tributes, whether your requirements are for traditional wreaths or speciality shapes the network of suppliers at our disposal can be arranged through us to ease the burden.
In addition, we are able to provide Memorials from our own Tyler Memorials – a long established supplier of high quality memorials, based in Newent. We can also offer advice regarding the types of memorial that may be allowed in particular cemetaries and churchyards.
We can also provide to individuals or families considering pre-arranged or pre-paid funerals suitable information and advice.
We of course have suitable hearses and limousines for use with traditional funerals, but we also have access to Horse Drawn Carriages, Motor Cycle and Side Cars plus a range of alternate vehicles if you should so wish. Please ask us for further information.
